On Friday, March 8th, STM pitted students against teachers in a Student vs. Teacher Volleyball game hosted by the Co-Instructional Committee. This exciting fifth-period buyout was a hit with the school community and fan support was amazing.
Both teams played incredibly as students cheered from the stands. The energy was high and only got higher when Knight rMore, led by Mr. Gagnier, began to play. Though it was a close game for a while, the student team came out on top and beat the teachers two sets to one.
“It was a success!” said Co-Instructional Committee Teacher-Advisor Ms. Kalogiros. “The players and teachers did well and were great sports.”
Thanks to the great support from students, the event raised $600 for the annual Co-Instructional awards banquet at the end of the year. The game was a great way to boost school spirit and an even better way to wrap up the week before March Break. Thanks go out to the student and teacher teams for their participation, as well as to everyone who came out to watch the game.
